Please be in prayer for our two lay leaders – Maria Woods and Josh Corbit as well as their families as well as Believers who have already signed up and for those who have yet to sign up. There are many ways to serve on the team besides being at camp such as helping with meetings, providing meals, agape, providing transportation and encouragement for believers, prayer wall, send off, serenade, and closings.

Last year we had great turnouts for Send Off, Serenade, and Closing.  Let’s do it all again!

We are looking forward to seeing how God will move on these walks as He always does!

We have wrapped up another fantastic round of walks with FWALT #29 and #30!
God showed up and showed out on both of these walks like He always does.

This was the first time we moved Send Off to Camp Bethany, and wow, our Community delivered in a big way.  For both the Women and the Men, so many of you lined the path between Snack and Chapel, cheering on the Believers.  It was great to see.
We will continue to organize Send Off in this way moving forward.

Here are the Serenade Details as well as the dates and details of our next Gathering. 

SERENADE

Men’s – At the Chapel at Camp Bethany, Saturday, September 21
Women’s – At the Chapel at Camp Bethany, Saturday, September 28

Serenade Practices will be in the Chapel at Camp Bethany between 5:15 and 5:30 pm.
Please do not arrive earlier than 5:15. We must remember that other people use the camp driveway, so we don’t need to keep it blocked for a long time. There will be servants who will help us stay hidden from the believers. Please park where you are directed when he or she instructs you to.
Parking will be behind the lodge as long as weather permits.

FALL GATHERING

Time for our Fall Gathering, Saturday, October 12th starting at 5:30 pm. Anyone who has completed a Walk is invited to join us at Cornerstone Baptist Church.  Come Worship, hear who our next lay leaders will be for walks #31 and #32, eat, fellowship, get the latest announcements for our community.

With the next round of ArkLaTex FaithWalks #29 and #30 just around the corner, we wanted to ensure you all had the details.

Men’s Walk #29 – September 19th – 22nd 
Women’s Walk #30 – September 26th – 29th

SEND OFF – Men: Thursday, September 19th
SEND OFF – Women: Thursday, September 26th

*** IF YOU ARE AN ENCOURAGER TO A BELIEVER: It is your responsibility to arrange transportation to Send Off and from Closing on Sunday for that Believer.  IT IS YOUR JOB TO ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION.  This does not mean you actually have to be the one driving them to camp.  Please just handle the logistics of getting them there and home. ***

SEND OFF INSTRUCTIONS:

Send-off will be done differently and will be at Camp Bethany.

6:15PM – 6:45PM –  Believers arrive at Camp Bethany
9766 US-79, Bethany, LA 71007

Drop off Believer in the parking area by the Snacks building.

The Registrar will set up a table in or near Snacks to register the Believer and tag their luggage with their room number.

The send-off team members and servants serving in residence will assist with this.

7:00PM – 7:15PM – The Community arrives and goes to Chapel.  Please feel free to park your cars at Conference.

7:20PM – 7:25PM – The Community will line the Believer’s path between snack and Chapel.

AGAPE DROP-OFFs / LETTER DROP-OFFS:

If you have any Agape or Letters to be dropped off, you may do so by the Tuesday before each Walk.  Tuesday, September 17th, for Men, and Tuesday, September 24th, for Women.  For Letters, you can also bring them with you to Serenade on that Saturday night of each Walk.

The Annual FaithWalk Meeting for the FWCI has been scheduled for July 20, 2024.  It will be held in Fyffe, AL.

The nominating committee consisting of Sheila Prior, Jerry Potter, Clay Dickinson, Becky Wilmouth, and Season Kelly has nominated the following people to fill the positions that will become open:
